Tiger PAWS
Players born in 2020 or 2021 will be placed in the Tiger Paws soccer program.
Each week players will be introduced to new soccer related skills and practice those they learned during prior training sessions. After 6-weeks, the preschool-aged player will be proficient in certain motor-skills that have been taught and have new soccer skills they can continue to work on. The most vital part of the Tiger Paws program is that the kids, parents, and coaches have a fun soccer experience that will encourage them to continue playing and participating in future years. Players will play with players in the same birth year.

Tiger CUBS
Players born in 2018 or 2019 will be placed in the Tiger Cubs program.
Tiger Cubs is our instructional division in Loveland Youth Soccer. All games and practices are in Loveland. Each team will have 8-10 players. All games are played in-house, meaning against other LYSA teams. All teams have 1 practice a week for 1-hour and 1 game each week. Games are 8-minute quarters, and each team will play 3v3 on two fields. This group will be divided into two divisions based on birth year, not school year.

PASSERS
Players born in 2016 or 2017 will be placed in the Passers division.
Passers has been designed to create a great soccer experience for kids ages 6-8. Games are designed to engage soccer skills in a playing environment that is tailored to the size and age of the players. Games will be played with 5 players: a keeper and 4 field players. Four 10-minute quarters. Each team will consist of approximately 7/8 players. Scores and standings are not kept. Players will play with and against their own gender. If possible, this age group will be divided into two divisions based on birth year.

FC Storm Academy
FC Storm Academy is a development program for boys and girls born in 2016 & 2017. It is designed for young players who want to improve their soccer skills and are mentally and physically ready for more advanced training. Academy is administered by FC Storm, the select soccer program in LYSA. It is a good preparation for trying out for FC Storm. The training focuses on foundational soccer skills (first touch, dribbling, passing, 1v1 play) through more rigorous training and small-sided games. It is a bridge between recreational and select soccer in a fun, positive learning environment. Academy uses paid trainers and licensed coaches; teams practice twice a week and play games on weekends. Players are not required to tryout for FC Storm Academy. More information on the program and how to register can be found at the link below on the FC Storm website. WINGS
Players born in 2014 or 2015 will be placed in the Wings division.
Wings provide a player-centered program that encourages each player to develop to the best of their ability, at their own pace, in a fun and safe learning environment. This will be done with a focus on individual development and small-sided games. Each team will consist of approximately 10/11 players. Players will play with and against their own gender. One practice per week 75 minutes OR 2 60 minute practices pending coach decision. Games are played with 7 players on the field (6 field players, 1 goalie). Four 12-minute quarters are played.

Players born in 2012 or 2013 will be placed in the Strikers division.
Strikers offers a continued growth in team skills in an 9v9 field environment. All our programs consist of player-centered teams that encourages each player to develop to the best of their ability, at their own pace, in a fun and safe learning environment. Each team will consist of approximately 12-14 players. Players will play with and against their own gender. One practice per week 90 minutes OR 2 60-minute practices pending coach decision. Four 15-minute quarters are played.

Players born in 2010 or 2011 will be placed in the Kickers division.
Kickers offer a continued growth in team skills in an 11v11 field environment. COED HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE
Players born 2009 through 2005 play in a specially designed high school coed league.
LYSA will be participating in the local SAY soccer league. Teams will play against recreational soccer teams from other local communities. LYSA will field separate boys and girls teams. Girls are allowed to play on boys teams.
Boys
Minors and Seniors (ages 14 to 19) will be combined and play as one group. There will be one 90-minute practice per week.
Girls
Minors and Seniors (ages 14 to 19) will be combined and play as one group. There will be one 90-minute practice per week.
Both boys and girls teams will play a 9v9 (including keeper) format. Games will be composed on four (4) 20-minute quarters. Smaller sized fields (Field C) will be used with full sized goals.
